All relevant teaching aid materials bought by the college at a cost of more than Birr 2,000,000...
According to information disclosed by Ato Biruk Demisse - Academic Dean of Zion College of Technology and Business, all relevant teaching aid materials bought by the college at a cost of more than Birr 2,000,000 have started being operational as of yesterday. The same fact holds true according to disclosures made by the Surveying department of the college. The department has thus expressed its happiness about the modernity and quantity as well of all the new tools and devices it had acquired.
Among these are 150 high powered computers, total stations, digital Tediolghts, leveling, canon-photocopying machines, laser-jet-scanners with 5590 and 24010 models respectively with an aggregate total of 2,500,000 Birr altogether.
The college’s faculty of technology has also disclosed the information that after acquiring the property form the college’s store, it has moved its share of the computers over to the college’s second campus-Bella-installing them at five separate laboratories found within the campus together with their accessories on 20/07/2004 E.C.
The IT Department which is part of this Faculty has expressed the happiness of all the students of this department as a result of the replacement of the previous outdated ones with new and up-to-date computers with a high functional capacity worthy of providing fast services.
